Devin Booker drops release date of highly anticipated Nike Book 2

Phoenix Suns franchise cornerstone Devin Booker entered a new realm of superstardom in early 2024 with the release of his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1. Now, the star guard is adding to his shoe line with the release of the Nike Book 2 on Jan. 2, 2026, Booker and Nike announced on Monday. 

In line with his laid back, vintage personality, the teaser trailer show Booker dressed in a black suit and coat headed to a lab filled with old television tapes, TVs and devices, all under the tag line "Licensed for Skill."

"Eventually, everyone needs a professional," the narrator says. "Whether he's your first option, or your last shot, they always call his number. It's a diabolical business. With shifty moves and backdoor schemes. But somebody's got to put in the work. 

"Treat it like another casual Friday at the office. Where one bad bounce could cost him everything. That's why he keeps a low profile. Locks it down in isolation. When he catches 'em slippin', and he always catches 'em slippin', Pull up, bang. Game time."

Diving deeper into the Nike Book 2

Nike shared the backstory into the next chapter of Booker's signature shoe line. 

"Devin Booker’s second signature shoe, the Nike Book 2, represents a modern take on basketball’s most classic style — meticulously fine-tuned to perform both on and off the court," Nike said in it's promotion of the collection. 

"Inspired by skateboarding, vintage cars and classic Nike Sportswear, the low-profile design features a forefoot Air Zoom unit; Cushlon 3.0 midsole; plush foam sock liner; and modernized, molded upper.

"Devin’s impeccable personal style also shines through in his Book 2 apparel collection, which brings the heat with eight versatile, sun-faded pieces that serve as an homage to basketball culture and his career in Phoenix."
