Before the Vancouver Canucks traded Quinn Hughes, the New Jersey Devils were one of the interested teams.
There, he could've teamed up with his brothers Jack and Luke. Instead, though, Quinn was dealt to the Minnesota Wild.
Now, the Devils' social media team is being a bit petty about it.
Team USA posted a picture from the Olympics of the Tkachuk brothers, Matthew and Brady, along with Jack and Quinn Hughes.

The Devils shared the photo themselves to recognize Jack, and they edited out Quinn.
Well, mostly. They left one of his legs in the photograph.
Here's the original photo:
Did the Devils take the picture of the Tkachuk brothers with the Hughes brothers and edit Quinn out? I think they did. What the hell is going on in Jersey. What a bizarre move https://t.co/AEaSAbyQg4 pic.twitter.com/tNhPfNINXy

And the photo on the right below is the edited version, where you can see an extra leg and also a weird edit break between Jack and the brothers:

— New Jersey Devils (@NJDevils) February 9, 2026A few fans have pointed out that the Devils have made edits like this before, but this is still quite the choice.
It's not going to make Quinn want to come to town in a few years when he becomes available in free agency. The Hughes brothers might just end up elsewhere.
