The Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets got into it on Monday night.

A fight broke out between the talented Eastern Conference foes after Jalen Duren and Moussa Diabate got into it in the paint.

A pass to the star big guy Duren inside led to a hard foul by Diabate. The pair got in each other's face.

Then, other players rushed in, and shoving and some apparent punch throwing commenced.

There's a lot to keep track of here.

First, all the coaches rush onto the floor, because they have to try and prevent bench players from going onto the court, because that can be a punishment by the league.

Eventually, at least LaMelo Ball appears to join the fray from the bench, so that's something worth watching.

There'll be a lot to keep track of in the coming days as far as NBA-level punishments.

On this night, Duren and Diabate were both ejected. So too were the Hornets' Miles Bridges and the Pistons' Isaiah Stewart.

Potentially, suspensions or big fines are lined up, too.

The Hornets are hot, and the Pistons are really good. They'll be hoping their star players don't have to miss too much time going forward after this wild scene.
