Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is once again set to face Jalen Carter and the Philadelphia Eagles on the field after the drama that took place during their season opener.

During Thursday's press conference, the Cowboys quarterback was questioned about whether he would be trash-talking Carter on the field. Prescott responded by saying that the situation depends on what transpires between them on the field.

"Depends on what he says first, but probably something friendly," Prescott said. "Get on his good side.

Dak Prescott also highlighted the impact that Jalen Carter has on the Eagles.

"Huge impact," the quarterback said. "Obviously, it starts right there with him in the middle. He's the main reason why they don't feel like they have to blitz it. They can press with just four guys. Hell of player. We're fortunate in the first game to absolutely not go against him. But I know he'll be ready to go and fired up for this one. So, excited for it.

During the Cowboys' season opener against the Eagles, Jalen Carter was ejected before the kickoff for spitting on Dak Prescott. The NFL decided to levy a $57,222 fine on the defensive tackle and suspend him for one game.

Despite the ejection, the Eagles went on to secure a 24-20 victory over the Cowboys at home. Dak Prescott completed 21 of 34 passes for 188 yards and no touchdowns.

Colin Cowherd shares his honest assessment of Dak Prescott after Week 11 victory over the Raiders

After a two-game winning streak, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys secured a 33-16 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11. The quarterback completed 25 of 33 passes for 268 yards and had four passing touchdowns in that game.

However, despite this, Colin Cowherd said that Prescott was a "top 10 to 12" quarterback in the league and did not consider him among the elites. He also highlighted Quinnen Williams' impact, who was brought in via trade with the Jets.

"Quinnen Williams last night, season high in sacks, one and a half, career high in quarterback hits," Cowherd said on Tuesday on his show. "Another escape from New York success story. Two things are absolutely true. Every player that leaves the toxic New York Jets gets better instantly. "And Dallas is probably not as far off as everybody thinks. Dallas has a top 10 to 12 quarterback (Dak Prescott). Run game's good. Interior D-line, Kenny Clark, Quinnen Williams, the weapons on the perimeter. They stole George Pickens. That's a lot of playoff boxes."

The Cowboys vs Eagles game is scheduled to be played on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
