Deion Sanders goes public with 37-year-old girlfriend Karrueche Tran, might be next 'stepmom'

Deion Sanders has taken his relationship public, confirming months of speculation by making things Instagram official with actress and model Karrueche Tran.

Sanders, 58, and Tran, 37, were recently spotted together at Huntington Bank Field during the Cleveland Browns’ 13-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sanders’ son, Shedeur Sanders, is the Browns’ starting quarterback.

The couple answered questions while at the stadium, with Tran saying she spent “quality time with the Sanders family” and describing the experience as “amazing.” Sanders said he recently traveled to meet Tran’s parents.

The relationship also surfaced in a Christmas vlog posted by Shilo Sanders, in which Tran appeared and jokingly referred to him as her “stepson.” The moment shows how quick this relationship with Tran is becoming "family" like. 

The confirmation follows a challenging year for Sanders, who announced in July that he was cancer-free after surgery to remove his bladder. Tran was present at the hospital ahead of the procedure, fueling earlier rumors about their relationship.

On the field, Sanders is coming off his worst season with the Colorado Buffaloes, who finished 3-9 in 2025 in his first year without his sons and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. 

Sanders now turns his focus to rebuilding ahead of the 2026 season as the transfer portal opens Jan. 2. However, he has been absent from Boulder since the end of the season.
