Deepest condolences to AEW star John Silver

One of AEW's long-time stars, John Silver, has shared a heartbreaking personal update on social media. The Dark Order member broke the saddening news of the passing of his childhood pet.

John Silver made his All Elite Wrestling debut back in 2019 alongside his indie circuit tag partner Alex Reynolds. Towards the end of year, the duo joined up with The Dark Order, a heel faction once led by the late Brodie Lee, which eventually transitioned into a massive babyface stable following The Exalted One's passing. Silver. Reynolds, Evil Uno and company played a key part in Hangman Page's 2021 ascension to the World Title in 2021.

Although The Dark Order and its members have been featured on AEW programming less prominently over the past couple of years or so, the core trio of the stable, including Silver, did return to television earlier this month on Dynamite. Unfortunately, a heartbreaking real-life loss has befallen Johnny Hungee, who took to Instagram a few hours earlier to share news of the passing of his childhood dog, Brutus. The star posted several photographs remembering his adorable canine companion, writing in the caption:

"RIP to my childhood dog Brutus. One of the smartest and most well behaved dogs," wrote Silver.

After not being featured on AEW television for nearly two years, John Silver, Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno finally made their return on the December 3 episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite, facing Hook, Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs for a shot at The Opps' World Trios Championships. Ahead of the bout, The Dark Order members had a tense reunion with their former ally Hangman Adam Page, requesting the former World Champion to not interfere during their match in light of his ongoing feud with The Opps and Samoa Joe.

Despite a valiant effort on their part, Silver, Reynolds and Uno were defeated by Hook, Shibata and Hobbs, although The Wrestler and The Embodiment of Willpower faced the wrath of The Cowboy as soon as the match was over.
