"He’s in his lovey dovey mode now" - Ex-NBA Champ Teases Bam Adebayo–A’ja Wilson Romance Linking It to Heat Star’s Music Switch

Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo has kept his relationship with A'ja Wilson under the radar. However, the couple has been more open lately, and fans love seeing them together. His teammate, Norman Powell, revealed that Adebayo has been listening to all sorts of music, which is heavily influenced by his relationship status.

Powell appeared on Tuesday's episode of his show, "Ball in the Family Podcast with Lonzo and Gelo Ball." During one segment, the Ball brothers asked the 2019 NBA champion which player usually uses the speakers. When he mentioned the All-Star big man, he rook the moment to tease his teammate.

“Bam's the one that’s always on the speaker. He’s in his lovey dovey mode now since he’s with A’Ja now he’s always listening to some type of music. He’s been on Kendrick, Drake, some Keyshia Cole,” Powell said.

Although the couple has not addressed how they started dating, fans have caught on. When Wilson received her fourth WNBA MVP trophy, it was Adebayo who surprised her by hand-delivering the award.

Adebayo also had a moment to reflect on his partner's historic achievement.

“Special moment for a special person,” Adebayo said. “To see somebody be the Mount Everest, the Mount Rushmore in their sport is something you can’t take for granted. To be able to give somebody flowers when they’re still here to smell them, that was a special moment for me and obviously everybody involved.”

Wilson has already been public about her true feelings about Bam Adebayo. During an interview with TIME Magazine, the Las Vegas Aces star revealed that it has always been her dream to start a family. She also addressed the Heat star as her "life partner."

Bam Adebayo and A'ja Wilson reacted to Rachel Nichols' "weird" baby question

A'ja Wilson has been open about starting a family with Bam Adebayo. While starting a family is a decision for the couple, Wilson has been generous enough to share that with everyone. However, it led to a "weird" question from one NBA journalist.

Rachel Nichols' recent question to OKC Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander wasn't well received by many. During the reporter's time with the reigning NBA MVP, she jokingly asked SGA if Thunder general manager Sam Presti would be present during a potential sonogram for Wilson's and Adebayo's future baby.

SGA kept his answer professional and said this:

“Sam takes his job very seriously and whatever it takes to be great, he will do so if that’s what it takes, that’s what it takes.”

The couple, however, weren't fans of what Nichols said.

"Yall don’t think this a lil strange orrrr weird..??? But I guess it’s a slow day in the office 😐" the WNBA star replied.

Bam Adebayo also didn't appreciate Nichols' question.

"This why privacy matters," the Heat star said.

Fans also thought that Nichols' question was strange.
