Dallas Cowboys' updated list of 2026 NFL draft picks after Logan Wilson trade

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly acquiring linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals, according to several reports.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Cowboys are giving up a 2026 seventh-round pick for Wilson's services.

Now, the Cowboys will hope Wilson can help an ailing defense that is among the NFL's worst entering Week 10. The Cowboys are also hoping to get DeMarvion Overshown back after they return from the bye in Week 11.

With the Cowboys moving a 2026 seventh-round pick for Wilson, here's an updated look at Dallas' stable of picks for this coming draft, including their projected compensatory selections, per Over The Cap.

Dallas Cowboys' 2026 NFL draft picks

  • Round 1
  • Round 1 (via Green Bay Packers)
  • Round 2
  • Round 4
  • Round 5
  • Round 5 (projected comp pick)
  • Round 7 (via Giants or Chiefs)*

The Cowboys are now slated to have seven picks in next year's draft. It isn't clear which seventh-rounder Dallas sent to Cincinnati yet, as the Cowboys had two.

The extra first-round pick comes from the Micah Parsons trade with the Green Bay Packers. The projected compensatory selection comes from cornerback Jourdan Lewis departing for the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on Monday that the team was going to make at least one trade, so Dallas might have more up its sleeve.

"We've made one. We possibly could make two more, and I'm going to wait and let you read about that when we send the papers in tomorrow," Jones said.

The Cowboys certainly have the ammo to do more, especially when it comes to a blockbuster trade with those two first-round picks.

However, it remains to be seen just how aggressive the Cowboys will be now that their playoff hopes took yet another hit following a 27-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night that dropped their record to 3-5-1.

If the Cowboys want any hope of fixing their putrid defense, they're going to need to do a lot more.
