In this, three matches will decide the outcome, with each match worth 100 points. Seven chefs from each team compete first, followed by five, then three. Moreover, every remaining chef must participate at least once. The mission is titled The Wheels of Fate. There are two feriss wheels. One wheel represents land ingredients. The other represents seafood. Land options include burdock root, chicken, peas, bone-in veal loin, spinach, and Korean melon.
Sea options include rockfish, pollock roe, gaebul, squid, and salmon. Each team selects one land ingredient and one sea ingredient to create a single collaborative dish. The first match is seven versus seven. Teams must prepare 100 servings in 150 minutes for a 100-member mystery panel. Judge Paik Jong-won selected squid and Korean melon from the wheels as ingredients.
White Spoons presents a Korean melon and squid salad. Black Spoons presents a dish titled The Squid and Korean Melon Flower Has Bloomed. Both judges chose the Black Spoon dish. However, panel voting gives White Spoons 66 points and Black Spoons 34. The second match is five versus five with a 120-minute limit. White Spoons choose chicken first.
Black Spoons select pollock roe. White Spoons serve Cock-a-doodle-doo, embracing pollock roe. Black Spoons present kkanpunggi with roe sauce. The judges split their votes. The panel gives White Spoons 52 and Black Spoons 48. The final match is three versus three. The judging panel is reduced to ten, with scores multiplied by ten. A hidden ingredient is revealed as tofu. White Spoons pair it with rockfish.
Black Spoons pair it with veal loin. After the first two matches, White Spoons lead with 118 points, while Black Spoons have 82. In the final tasting, six judges side with Black Spoons. Three support White Spoons. The last vote remains undisclosed. The scores stand at 148 for Black Spoons and 142 for White Spoons as the Culinary Class Wars season 2 episode 7 ends on a cliffhanger.
