Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt's wife, Tavia Hunt, uploaded an Instagram story regarding the team relocating to a new home stadium in Kansas by 2031. Tavia shared a statement from Clark about the fans being a critical part of a franchise.
"What makes Chiefs gamedays so special is you. Seats don't make noise, concrete doesn't intimidate opponents, parking lots don't cook barbecue. You do," the statement read.A few hours later, Tavia added another post on her Instagram story, showing a supportive message she received from a fan.

Image via Tavia Hunt InstagramOn Monday, the Chiefs announced that they will leave Arrowhead Stadium, their home arena since 1972, for a new, $3 billion domed stadium that will be constructed across the Kansas-Missouri state line. The Chiefs' new stadium is expected to be ready for the start of the 2031 season.
Tavia is the head of the Chiefs Women's Organization (CWO), focusing on philanthropy and community service.
Tavia and Clark have been married since 1993. The couple has three children together: daughters Gracie and Ava, and son Knobel.
In May 2013, Clark praised his wife for being a supportive mother to their children.
“My wife Tavia is an amazing mother," Clark said in an interview with the Chiefs. "She loves our children and literally would do anything for them. “She's also a great teacher; she takes every opportunity to instruct them, whether it's something in terms of our faith, in terms of school, or how they treat those around them; she's just an amazing mom.”Tavia and Clark have been at the helm to oversee Kansas City win four Super Bowls.

"Today didn’t end the way we hoped," Tavia wrote on her IG story. "After a season full of effort and heart, missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade stings — and it’s okay to feel that disappointment,"The Chiefs last missed the playoffs in the 2014 season. They had also won each of the nine past AFC West titles.
However, their playoff and divisional title-winning streaks ended this season.
