Cristiano Ronaldo's latest attempt to become a league champion in Saudi Arabia is firmly underway.
After a 5-0 win to start their Pro League campaign, Ronaldo and Al Nassr hosted Al Kholood on September 14 in their first game following the September international break.
Their penalty-shootout loss in the final of the Saudi Super Cup in August means Ronaldo's wait for silverware in the kingdom goes on. A strong start to the league season has therefore felt particularly important if they are to get their hands on the title.
They followed up that opening victory with a 2-0 win over Al Kholood, with Sadio Mane and Inigo Martinez scoring the goals in Riyadh. Goalkeeper Raghed Al Najjar saved a late penalty to deny the visitors the chance of a comeback.
Here is how Ronaldo got on.

Cristiano Ronaldo stats today vs. Al Kholood
Ronaldo played the full 90 minutes against Al Kholood but failed to get on the scoresheet.
The captain started at centre-forward, leading a fearsome four-pronged attack that also included Mane, Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman.
Al Nassr were comfortably on top but did not break the deadlock until Mane's slick finish in the 52nd minute. Martinez's powerful header with nine minutes of normal time remaining made certain of the three points, before Al Najjar's late penalty save after Martinez had brought down Muhammad Sawaan.
Ronaldo was given a rating of 6.8 by FotMob, which was the lowest of any starting Al Nassr player. He had five shots but only one on target, and he didn't create a chance for any of his teammates.
