Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed there is no route back into the Chelsea first team for Raheem Sterling, with the winger training separately from the rest of the squad since the start of the season.
Sterling, who spent last year on loan at Arsenal, returned to Stamford Bridge this summer but has not featured under Maresca.
The Chelsea head coach revealed that both Sterling and defender Axel Disasi are working away from the main group.
The Sporting News understands Sterling has rejected several offers to play abroad, including from Turkey.
"They are Chelsea players, but at the moment they are training separately and the plan is to continue in this way," Maresca said.
"Since the season started, I haven't seen either of them. They train at a different time and on a different pitch. I haven’t seen them since the start of the season."
Asked whether there was a way back, he replied: "With us? No."

Sterling had interest from Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen during the summer, but the BBC reports the 30-year-old was reluctant to leave London, preferring to remain close to his family.
Arsenal did not pursue a permanent transfer after his loan, while Chelsea were unable to generate firm offers from Fulham, Crystal Palace or West Ham.
His contract, believed to be worth in excess of £300,000 a week and with two years still to run, has proved a major obstacle.
Should Sterling remain without a move, Chelsea face paying out more than £30m in wages over the next two seasons with little prospect of a return on the pitch.
Sterling made 28 appearances for Arsenal last term, scoring once and providing five assists.
The Gunners contributed around £100,000 a week towards his salary, with Chelsea covering the rest.
