Cristiano Ronaldo sent a message to his fans on social media after Al-Nassr recorded a resounding 3-1 victory over Neom on Saturday, November 8. The club captain scored in his sixth consecutive league game for the Knights of Najd.

Maintaining a flawless record of eight wins in eight games, the Knights of Najd are currently leading the Saudi Pro League with 24 points. With a buoyant start to the league campaign, Ronaldo is hopeful about winning his first official trophy with Al-Nassr. Addressing the team's current form, he wrote on X:

"Working on our dream!"

Against Neom, Angelo Gabriel broke the deadlock in the 47th minute before Cristiano Ronaldo doubled Al-Nassr's lead from the penalty spot (65'). Neom's Ahmed Abdu Jaber pulled a goal back (84'), courtesy of Islam Hawsawi's assist. However, Joao Felix sealed the victory for the Knights of Najd only two minutes later (86') by making the score 3-1.

Ronaldo has now scored 953 goals in his professional career, and he's marching toward the 1000-goal milestone. He's currently the joint second-highest scorer in the Saudi Pro League (alongside Al-Khaleej's Joshua King), having scored nine goals in eight games. Meanwhile, former Chelsea attacker Joao Felix leads the tally with 10 goals.

Next up, the Knights of Najd will face Al-Khaleej on November 23, as the club looks forward to continuing their winning streak.

Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that scoring goals in LaLiga was easier than in the Saudi Pro League. During his recent interview with UK television personality Piers Morgan, the Portuguese legend affirmed that the Saudi Pro League's standard is higher than the Spanish top-tier football.

He said (via Fabrizio Romano on X):

"For me, it's more easy to score goals in Spain, in LaLiga than score goals in Saudi."

Cristiano Ronaldo played for Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018, spending nine seasons in the Spanish capital. In 438 appearances across all competitions, Ronaldo scored 450 goals and provided 131 assists, while winning 16 major trophies for Los Blancos.

Meanwhile, since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, the 40-year-old has won only the Arab Club Cup with the Saudi giants; the trophy is not officially recognised by FIFA. In 116 appearances for Al-Nassr, the 40-year-old has bagged 103 goals, also providing 21 assists.
