Cody Rhodes' former tag team partner takes a personal shot at his late father Dusty Rhodes

Cody Rhodes' former tag team partner and current rival, Drew McIntyre, took a personal shot at Rhodes' late father, Dusty Rhodes.

Rhodes and McIntyre are once again set to cross paths in Berlin, in a 3 Stages of Hell Match. The American Nightmare has already beaten his long-term rival on multiple occasions, but the Scotsman has once again earned himself a title shot.

This week on SmackDown, McIntyre took personal digs at Dusty while confronting his son. He even implied that the late legend is in hell and further doubled down on the same with his message on social media.

"Dusty will be looking up with a huge smile on his face," wrote McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre even crossed the line to take shots at Cody Rhodes' wife, Brandi

Drew McIntyre's promo targeted Cody Rhodes' late father, Dusty Rhodes, and also targeted his wife, Brandi Rhodes. On SmackDown, the former WWE Champion said that Cody's wife, Brandi, could've seen what a "real daddy" looked like.

Here's what McIntyre had to say on this week's show:

"Your family weren't there when I attacked you, were they? But I wish they were there, I wish your children could see a real man put the boots to you. I wish your wife, Brandi, could see what a real daddy looks like,"

Rhodes regained the Undisputed WWE Championship by dethroning John Cena at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event. He became a two-time champion and has been feuding with McIntyre for weeks.

The Scotsman has come agonizingly close to becoming a World Champion in the WWE. Last year at WrestleMania XL, he even won the World Heavyweight Championship, but was dethroned within seconds, courtesy of Damian Priest, who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract after McIntyre was taken out by CM Punk.
