Cursed weapons can drop as a Blueprint from various sources. While there are multiple ways to get them, the drop isn’t always guaranteed. Additionally, there’s a good chance it’s not something you’re looking for, so here are the fastest ways to farm Cursed weapons in the game.

One of the best Cursed weapon farms in ARK Survival Ascended is through the Neophytes. They are new creatures that are extremely tanky and take reduced damage from almost every source of damage in the game. A fight with even a single one can drag out for a long time, as they can also fly.

However, there is a way to defeat them with a lot less effort. If you remember the trick to get loot from the Gacha Clause, capturing a Neophyte is almost the same, but before that, you need them to hunt you, which happens only after meeting certain conditions.

The first thing you need to do is raise your hostility level to 50 (max). To do so, head into a town and start attacking enemies. At max level, you’ll get a debuff called Watched, meaning the Neophytes are now stalking you, but at night, between 8 PM and 5 AM, they will start attacking you.

To capture one, build a small room with two doors: a big one to get the Neophyte inside and another regular-sized door to get out. Once the creature is inside, close the big door and exit through the smaller door. Then use Thylacoleo to apply bleed, as it’s the only effective way to kill a Neophyte quickly. Repeat the process until you have what you need.

Completing any one of the missions grants you a key for the loot cache, which can contain blueprints for Cursed weapons. The entire concept of a Cursed weapon is having the ability to carry multiple traits, meaning it’s hard to point at one thing and call it the best. If you like playing close range, having a Cursed melee will come in handy, but if ranged gameplay is what you want, then a Cursed bow or gun will be a better option.
