Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update: Fancy Shop and Ranked Improvements explored

The Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update will introduce the Fancy Shop, alongside improvements to the Ranked Mode. The Fancy Shop is a new in-game shop for special decorations, and you will need new in-game currencies to purchase these items from the shop.

Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update: The all-new Fancy Shop

The Fancy Shop is an all-new in-game shop that will include new charge effects for Supercharges, certain decos, and hero skins. You must earn Sparky Stones, a new in-game currency, to purchase anything from the Fancy Shop.

Check out how you can earn the Sparky Stones below:

  • By completing Supercharge upgrades: You can earn the Sparky Stones by completing Supercharge upgrades. Each upgrade will reward you with 10 Sparky Stones.
  • By completing Crafted Defense Module upgrade: Upgrading each module of the Crafted defenses will reward you with eight Sparky Stones.

Note that all of your previously completed Crafted Defense Modules and Supercharge upgrades will count towards this.

According to the recent posts of game-affiliated content creators, the Meteorite Builder Skin, Crafted Statue, and adding charge effects to decorations will be the initial items in the Fancy Shop.

The skin will cost around 3,200 Sparky Stones, while the Crafted Statue will cost 500 Sparky Stones, and adding a charge effect to decorations will cost 100 Sparky Stones each.


Clash of Clans Town Hall 18 update: Ranked improvements

The developer also announced certain improvements to the Ranked Mode of Clash of Clans. The temporary troops will now be banned from the Ranked Battles, Clan Wars Battles, and CWL Battles.

Furthermore, if a player is inactive in the Ranked Mode for one tournament, they maintain their previous League status and bonuses for that week of inactivity. So, from now on, to keep the same League ranking for the following week, you must sign up for the following week’s tournament before it begins (Tuesday, 5:00 am UTC). The tournament group matchmaking in Ranked Mode will also be less predictable in Ranked Mode.

Leagues 7, 16-27, and 29-31 will receive five new promotion slots, while League 28 will receive 10 new promotion slots. League 28-31 will also receive five new demotion slots. Two attacks will be reduced from the players of Leagues 22 and 23, and four attacks will also be reduced from the players of League 25.

These changes are expected to improve the competitiveness further for players in Ranked Mode. These changes went live on November 17, 2025, after the update.
