Cincinnati Bengals sport incredibly favorable travel schedule for 2025 NFL season

As has also been the case in recent years, the Cincinnati Bengals have one of the most favorable travel schedules in the NFL for the 2025 season.

In fact, not only is the Bengals' travel schedule one of the most favorable, it is the most favorable in the NFL.

According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com, Cincinnati will travel a grand total of 8,753 miles this coming season, the fewest in the NFL. Their average trip will be 1,094 miles and the team will cross eight time zones in all.

And, that league-low miles traveled number is by a pretty wide margin, too, as the next closest team, the Buffalo Bills, will travel a total of 10,546 miles this season.

Compare that to the Los Angeles Chargers, who have to travel a whopping 37,086 miles in 2025, which is the most in NFL history.

As compared to last season, the Bengals will travel nearly 2,000 miles less. Cincy's schedule saw it cover 10,611 miles last year, which was the second-fewest in the league.

Of course, that didn't do the Bengals any good, as the team still went 9-8 and missed the playoffs. However, it's still important to point out, as a lot of travel can lead to extra wear and tear on players.

A big reason for the lack of miles traveled for Cincinnati has to do with the fact that they don't have any games on the west coast. The furthest the Bengals will travel is their road game against the Denver Broncos. Adding to that, the AFC North teams are all situated close by, so that also helps.

In case you forgot, here's a list of the Bengals' 2025 opponents, both at home and on the road.

Home games: Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals

Away games: Ravens, Browns, Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos

The NFL will release the Bengals' full schedule on Wednesday, May 14.
