An absolute nightmare for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Patrick Mahomes is already out for the season with a torn ACL. And now Gardner Minshew is injured.
Minshew left Sunday's Week 16 game against the Tennessee Titans with a knee injury.
That left the Chiefs down to one quarterback: Chris Oladokun.
Oladokun was a seventh-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers back in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played his college football at three different schools: South Florida, Samford and South Dakota State.
He had played in just one NFL game, that coming in 2024 with the Chiefs, when he ran once for five yards and didn't attempt a pass.

The Chiefs had been operating with two QBs active each gameday, Mahomes and Gardner Minshew.
With Mahomes out, it's Minshew who got the start in Week 16. And before any roster moves, Minshew was the only quarterback on the active roster.
But there Oladokun was, on the field. He came in with the Chiefs trailing 2-0. Yes, 2-0.
He'll try to prove he belongs, but it's anyone's guess how he'll play.
