Chaos breaks out after WWE SmackDown match, several top stars seriously hurt

Major chaos broke out after a match tonight on WWE SmackDown. As a result, several top stars were seriously hurt.

Solo Sikoa and his MFTs have been causing chaos on SmackDown over the past few weeks. They have spared no one as they have tried to spread fear in the locker room. Sami Zayn, Ilja Dragunov, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and many more have fallen victim to this faction. Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa got into a backstage confrontation with Motor City Machine Guns, resulting in a match being booked for later in the night.

Later in the show, when Tama Tonga and JC Mateo faced off against Motor City Machine Guns, Solo Sikoa got involved and distracted the referee, allowing the MFTs to pick up the win. Following the match, MFTs continued to assault Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin until Rey Fenix came out to help them. However, the former AEW star was no match for Talla Tonga. Following this, Shinsuke Nakamura came out to even the playing field. However, he was taken out by Talla Tonga again. At the end of the segment, it was Solo and his MFTs who stood tall in the ring.

Vince Russo criticized WWE's booking of Solo Sikoa's faction

A few weeks ago, on SmackDown, The MFTs came face-to-face with the Wyatt Sicks in a segment that stirred fans' interest. Despite the number being in The MFT's favor, they backed out of a physical confrontation. A former WWE writer criticized this booking decision.

During an episode of Legion of RAW, Vince Russo mentioned that WWE is trying to portray The MFT as a strong faction, but they chose to back out of a fight even when the odds were in their favor.

"We got both team face-to-face in the ring. We've got five Samoans and three members of the Wyatt Sicks and a girl. So we got five Samoans and three guys and a girl. Guess who backs out? The Samoans. They're supposed to be bad you-know whats and they're high tailing it. Five guys against three guys and a girl. That's what I'm talking about. Do they not see it? Do they not see this as horrible?"

It will be interesting to see when these two groups will finally face off on SmackDown.
