"Change is coming" - Current WWE champion teases something huge

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi has teased something huge on social media. Femi became a two-time NXT Champion by dethroning Ricky Saints at Deadline.

The Ruler made his main roster in-ring debut at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13th. He faced Cody Rhodes in a champion vs. champion match, which ended in a No Contest after interference from Drew McIntyre.

On Instagram, Femi sent a three-word message teasing a change and also posted a video of himself with the NXT Championship. His next title defense will be against Leon Slater.

"CHANGE IS COMING," wrote Femi.

Dutch Mantell was not impressed with Oba Femi at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Dutch Mantell spoke about Oba Femi's in-ring outing at Saturday Night Main Event and claimed that nothing stood out for him. The veteran did mention that he hasn't seen much of Femi's in-ring work.

Speaking on Story Time With Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager had this to say:

"Well, he has the look. I think he has the interview if they give him some good stuff," Mantell said. "Okay, my first look at him talking, the jury is still out on my opinion of him. I've seen the name, but I haven't seen him work that much. I saw a little bit of what he did in the match, but there's nothing that I can say that jumped out at me."

Femi will stick around in NXT for as long as he is the reigning NXT Champion or further. He signed with the company in 2021 as part of the company's Next In Line program.

He also became the first NIL graduate to win a championship in the WWE by winning the North American Title. He dethroned Dragon Lee to win the NXT North American Championship and did so by cashing in his Breakout Tournament.
