Canada's journey in the 2026 World Juniors championship continues on Monday night, when they face off against Denmark.

So far in the tournament, Canada has won both of its games, which included a thrilling 7-5 victory over Czechia on Friday and a tight 2-1 OT win against Latvia on Saturday. Therefore, Canada enters the night with five points, just one point behind Finland for the top spot in Group B.

Canada has gotten contributions up and down the lineup through two games, as seven different players have scored a goal. Both Michael Hage and Zayne Parekh lead the team with two goals each, while Hage and Gavin McKenna lead the way with four points a piece.

In this third game, Canada will play Denmark, who has had a difficult time in the World Juniors in the early going. The Danes have lost both their games in the tournament by a combined score of 15-4, putting them in last place in Group B entering Monday's action.

That mark puts Denmark in a tough spot going against the powerhouse Canadian team, as the team has just two games left to make its mark. If Denmark can pull off the upset, it would potentially be one of the biggest of the tournament.
