Can you get Gigantamax Grimmsnarl remotely in Pokemon GO?

Gigantamax Grimmsnarl has been released in Pokemon GO as part of Wild Area 2025. However, the event is exclusive to attendees with tickets in Nagasaki, Japan, on November 7, 8, and 9, 2025, with the global event taking place on November 15 and 16, 2025.

Thankfully, during this time, trainers without tickets and those not in Nagasaki can also participate in Pokemon GO Gigantamax Grimmsnarl Max Battles legitimately using Remote Raid Passes. If you can take down the Power Spot boss successfully, you will get a chance to catch the creature.

How to join Gigantamax Grimmsnarl Max Battles remotely

To participate in Max Battles featuring G-Max Grimmsnarl remotely, you must spend the same 800 MP in addition to a Remote Raid Pass. From November 7 to 9, 2025, the creature will be available from 9 am to 5 pm JST, so if you wish to get the creature before its global release, you must play the game during this time.

Even during the global event on November 15 and 16, if you live in an area without much community participation, you can join these battles remotely.

You can use Remote Raiding apps in Pokemon GO to find Grimmsnarl Max Battles. Alternatively, if you have friends attending the event in Nagasaki, you can ask them for invitations.

However, you should note that unlike the Max Particle cost, your Remote Raid Pass still gets consumed if you lose the battle.

Other than Grimmsnarl Max Battles, Wild Area 2025 also features new Mighty Pokemon, Shadow Darkrai raids, Shadow Cresselia raids, as well as some exclusive attacks.
