As Decider’s resident shopping reporter, I love to find a rare deal.
There are some streaming services out there that just don’t seem to get discounted often, including one service that I firmly believe every cinephile should check out: MUBI.
Haven’t heard of MUBI before? Here’s how the service describes itself: “A streaming service? A curator? A publisher? A distributor? A cinema lover? Yes.”
Put simply, MUBI is all the things when it comes to cinema, but for the purpose of this deal, here’s what you need to know: 50% off, three months. You’ll get three months of MUBI for just $7.49/month, down from $14.99.
If you want to expand your cinematic horizons, this is the service to get. (Trust me, I’m a subscriber myself!)
What to Watch on MUBI
As noted above, MUBI distributes new releases all around the globe, and as a result, many of the films it distributes in the United States hit the MUBI streaming service first. As for 2025 releases, that includes the thriller Lurker; The History of Sound starring Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor; Die My Love with Jennifer Lawrence; the 2025 Venice Golden Lion winner Father Mother Sister Brother and Kelly Reichardt’s The Mastermind, also starring O’Connor.

In addition to those, the service has a curated selection of the best indie and arthouse films from around the world, so there are no limits to the films you’ll discover with a subscription.
That’s not to say the service isn’t home to some household names, too; among the current catalog are Scorsese’s Raging Bull, Richard Linklater’s Boyhood, and the movie that won Cher her Oscar, Moonstruck.
You can also stream TV series, Mussolini: Son of the Century, from director Joe Wright (“Atonement”) and Cooper Raiff’s Hal and Harper are exclusive to MUBI. David Lynch’s masterpiece Twin Peaks is also streaming on the service.
If you take only one recommendation from all this, I recommend making it Plainclothes — the queer thriller starring Russell Tovey and Tom Blyth. It’s one of 2025’s most underseen and underrated and 100% worth watching.
