Cade Cunningham's breakout season helped lead the Pistons back to the playoffs after finishing last year with the worst record in the league.
While the team accomplishment is most notable, Cunningham officially reached personal accomplishment, as well. On Friday, Cunningham was named to the All-NBA Third Team, the first time in his four-year career that Cunningham received the recognition.
By earning the honor, Cunningham also made a good chunk of money on his current contract, as the new CBA awards players who make the All-NBA while playing under a rookie max contract extension.
Here's how much money Cunningham earned after his career-best season.

Cade Cunningham contract
Cunningham signed a five-year, $224 million extension with Detroit last summer, with the AAV for each season coming in at 25 percent of the cap. By making the All-NBA Third Team, Cunningham will get a five percent raise each year up to 30 percent of the cap.
As a result, Cunningham's contract is now five-years, $269.1 million.
Cade Cunningham will see his rookie scale extension jump from 25% of to 30% of the cap by virtue of making the All-NBA Third Team:
25-26: $46.4M
26-27: $50.1M
27-28: $53.8M
28-29: $57.5M
29-30: $61.2M
Total: five years, $269.1M
The extension is due to kick in at the beginning of the 2025-26 season and will run through the 2029-30 season. Overall, Cunningham will earn an extra $45 million over the next five years for making an All-NBA team.
Of course, the salary increase also means the Pistons will have less cap space next season, a trade-off the team is likely satisfied making.
Cade Cunningham has earned an extra $45 million for making an All-NBA team and qualifying for the 30 percent max contract.
His $46.4 million salary for 2025-26 decreases the Pistons cap space from $25 million to $17 million.
Good chance they're an over-the-cap team this summer.
