LeBron James' son, Bronny James, earned first-quarter minutes alongside Luka Doncic in Sunday's game between the LA Lakers and Miami Heat. The Lakers use him as an additional ball handler on the court due to the Heat's on-ball pressure. At that point, LA had rested Austin Reaves and Marcus Smart, the other two playmakers, who started alongside Doncic.
Unlike previous games, Bronny looked comfortable. The former second-round pick had a four-minute run, which extended into the second quarter. In that frame, he had two points and one assist on 1 of 2 shots. His only field goal came off an alley-oop set up by Reaves.
Bronny returned for another three-minute stint before the half ended, but it didn't alter his box score much, barring the addition of a rebound.
