Brock Bowers' GF Cameron Newell claims Raiders TE never made first move to initiate romantic relationship

Brock Bowers and his girlfriend, Cameron Newell, have been dating since their high school days. Despite going to different colleges, the couple remained together via a long distance relationship. Bowers and Newell have maintained privacy around their personal lives like most celebrities.

However, she shared some interesting details on Wednesday about the time when she started dating the Las Vegas Raiders tight end. The influencer revealed that they met through mutual friends. Even though it was Bowers who initiated a conversation with Newell, he didn't make "the first move."

"I think we added each other on Snapchat and he texted me right, and he said I was pretty or something and then, yeah, the rest is history," Newell said, via WAGTalk. "And then the first move, I actually made the first move, because he was too nervous."

Bowers attended the University of Georgia, while Newell studied marketing at the University of Tennessee. She often watched the Bulldogs and cheered for him despite going to different schools.

Newell was the first person to congratulate the tight end when he got drafted by the Raiders last year. They were with their families on draft day. She celebrated Bowers' entry to the league with an Instagram tribute.

"You did it. I’m so proud of you @brockbowers GO RAIDERS!" Newell wrote on April 26, 2024.

Cameron Newell's father has been a huge fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, long before Brock Bowers was drafted by the team. Newell shared on Instagram on Oct. 18 how her father tried for years to turn her into a Raiders fan.

"Thanks Dad for trying to make me a Raiders fan all these years, it finally worked!" Newell wrote.

The post included pictures of Newell in different poses when she watched Las Vegas' Week 6 game versus Tennessee at Allegiant Stadium.
