BREAKING: Two WWE stars reunite after 494 days

While WWE often sees teams and factions splitting, their reunion is almost always a rare and special occasion. Interestingly, two wrestlers of the Stamford-based promotion have decided to join forces once again. Despite fighting on different brands, Penta and Rey Fenix will re-form The Lucha Brothers soon.

Notably, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano teamed up to defeat El Hijo del Vikingo and Dragon Lee at AAA Alianzas on November 22, 2025. The final moments of the match saw del Vikingo abandoning Lee, which allowed Mysterio to pin him and secure the win.

The AAA Mega Champion later took the mic and gloated about the victory. This led to a backstage segment where Rey Fenix and Penta reunited after 494 days and challenged Dominik and Americano to a match. This will be the first time The Lucha Brothers will fight as a tag team after joining WWE.

The match will take place on December 20, 2025, at the Guerra de Titanes event in Guadalajara. Penta and Fenix last teamed up on AEW Rampage on July 17, 2024. It will be interesting to see if The Lucha Brothers will be able to take down the formidable duo of El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio.

Dominik Mysterio could become a double champion again at WWE Survivor Series

Dominik Mysterio will be heading into Survivor Series: WarGames next Saturday for a huge showdown. The Judgment Day member has challenged John Cena to a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. "Dirty" Dom held the gold for over 200 days after winning it at WrestleMania 41 before Cena dethroned him on the November 10 episode of WWE RAW.

The AAA Mega Champion claimed that he wasn’t ready for an impromptu title defense when The Franchise Player challenged him in his hometown, Boston. Thus, Dominik Mysterio asked Cena to put the championship on the line on his home turf, San Diego.

If The Judgment Day member manages to win his title back, he will become a double champion again. It will be interesting to see if The Latino Cheat can defeat Cena on November 29.
