A new WWE champion has been crowned on RAW in a huge shock. It was an enormous upset.

Becky Lynch vs Maxxine Dupri was a shocking affair on WWE RAW

Becky Lynch has not had the best luck with Maxxine Dupri. The star was counted out in their match once. She was also disqualified the other time, making for quite a big moment. Dupri has apparently had Lynch's number no matter what the champion has tried, and Adam Pearce has been interested in giving her a shot at the title, where she can actually win it.

After a few weeks of preparation, Maxxine agreed on the match, and the two stars got the chance to battle for the title directly in the famous Madison Square Garden arena.

Maxxine Dupri started the match fast and nearly got the win before Lynch was even ready. The show revealed a more vicious side of the star. She hit move after move, any of which could have won the title, but Lynch kicked out of all of them. She came back into the match, but Maxxine even survived the Manhandle Slam.

AJ Lee suddenly returned, and that led to Maxxine Dupri winning the Women's Intercontinental Championship after a crossbody.

While Becky Lynch held the Intercontinental Title on RAW over the last few months, she's also not had the best time on the show.

Not only was she on the back foot to Maxxine Dupri, someone she considers still a rookie in the business, but she was also not in the best position otherwise. She had been added to the Vision and was paired with her husband, Seth Rollins.

However, with him getting injured and taken off the show, that situation changed as well. She's been alone, and with the title match taking place, she was vulnerable. Now, she has lost the WWE title as well.
