John Cena is set to compete in his final match against Gunther in a few hours at Saturday Night's Main Event. Ahead of his final match, a lot of WWE Hall of Famers and people who played an integral role in Cena's career made appearances to talk about Cena's career. Among these names is the 2026 Hall of Fame inductee Stephanie McMahon who made her return to the company's programming for Cena's last match.

Saturday Night's Main Event started off with a video package narrated by Triple H where the Legend looked back at the Cenation leader's career. To kickoff the things in the arena, the camera panned back to the desk as Joe Tessitore welcomed Stephanie McMahon for an interview. The 2026 Hall of Fame inductee discussed the impact Cena has had on the Stamford-based company.

She spoke about how Cena wanted his final night as an active performer to provide a platform to future stars.

"We are here to pay tribute to a true legend, the GOAT, the Never Seen 17, John Cena.... It's very fitting for John Cena to want his very final night to be about featuring who's up and coming, who's the next batch of superstars. John Cena has said on interviews, he wants to shake the hand of the person who becomes the 18-time WWE Champion." She said.

It's heartwarming to see Stephanie give Cena his flowers right before his final wrestling match.

Stephanie McMahon also praised John Cena on the SNME pre-show

During the pre-show, a lot of WWE Legends gave interviews where they shared their thoughts on the retirement of the Last Real Champion. Before the main show, Stephanie McMahon was also interviewed near the stage area where she discussed what makes the Cenation Leader so special.

She mentioned that Cena is considered as a superhero in the ring but he's an even bigger hero outside the ring. She talked about how Cena has granted the most Make-a-Wishes for kids fighting critical illnesses, more than any celebrity or entertainer.

Fans are now looking forward to see Cena make his iconic run to the ring one last time before he hangs up his boots at the end of the night.
