The Atlanta Braves are 27-36 this season. They are 13 games back of the National League East lead and nine games out of a Wild Card spot. They are in danger of falling out of contention.
The Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles fired their managers this season, but the Braves do not plan on making a similar decision, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.
"Despite Atlanta’s frustrating season in which they’re in danger of missing the postseason for the first time since 2017, manager Brian Snitker’s job appears to be safe for the remainder of the season," wrote Nightengale. "He has led Atlanta to seven consecutive postseasons and a World Series championship. Snitker’s contract expires after this year when he’s expected to retire as manager and then move into a special assistant role.
"Snitker, who has spent 49 years with the organization, deserves to be wildly cheered when he’s introduced during the All-Star Game pre-game introductions in Atlanta on Dave Roberts’ NL coaching staff."
The Braves seemed destined to find a new manager after the season, but they will allow Snitker to finish out the season. Snitker became manager for the Braves in 2016. He took over as the interim manager when Fredi González was fired. He was named the full-time manager after the season.

Snitker is 762-618 as the Braves manager and won the World Series in 2021. The team has made the postseason seven times with Snitker at the helm. There is still time for the team to turn things around, but they will have to start playing better in a hurry.
