Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman recently revealed a major grievance he had with fellow performers back in the day. The Monster of All Monsters claimed that he found the aforementioned issue very annoying.
Speaking on a recent edition of Bert Kreischer's Something’s Burning, the former WWE Universal Champion pointed out that when he joined the wrestling promotion, The Undertaker used to main event house shows. He added that every star on the roster would watch the matches and had to stay backstage until the end.
"Something for me that kind of chapped my a** on my way out of the business was how much of the respect was lost. Just for the guys who main event everything, because you would see when I first started, like, Taker was still around doing house shows stuff and, like, they're the main event, and you better be fu**ing sitting there watching the screen when he comes back, or you're going to get your a** chewed out for it," Strowman said.Braun Strowman stated that it was done out of respect and to appreciate the stars competing in the main event. However, the situation changed over time, as the 42-year-old recalled an instance where fellow performers had already left town while he and Roman Reigns were wrestling a 45-minute-long street fight.
"So it went from that of the respect of watching the guys that were on the marquee, drawing the main event, and the main reason why 90% of the people were in the building was to watch that main event. It was paying your respect to go, 'Hey thanks for the house.' To seeing that and then going out there, and then, like, Roman Reigns and I going out there, 45 minutes doing a street fight, and coming back and there's nobody in the fu**ing gorilla, and they're already in their hotels in the next town. It's like, 'Wait a second, like, they paid to fu**ing see us. You couldn't even stay around to watch our sh*t,'" Strowman added.You can check out the conversation below:
Braun Strowman recently spoke about his new girlfriend
During his appearance on E!'s Hot Goss, Braun Strowman announced that he was in a relationship.
Braun Strowman revealed that his girlfriend was of Italian descent. The Monster Among Men revealed that he had known her for six years. Strowman stated that he needed someone mean like her to keep him in check.
Braun Strowman has previously revealed that he is "semi-retired" from full-time professional wrestling to focus on an acting career. It remains to be seen if and when he decides to get back inside the squared circle.
