Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been a big watch this week after injuring his foot/ankle in the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

With Week 18 approaching, the Bills can't afford to have Allen banged up ahead of what might be their most important postseason in recent memory.

Allen stated post-game that he was good, but it was clear he was sore.

The next step was to see how Allen did in practice, and on Wednesday, he was listed as DNP.

But when he fronted the media, Josh gave a positive update on his status.

“Yeah, I feel like we're in a good spot,” Allen said. “Just continuing to try to do all the things right and make sure I'm ready to go.”

Bills have to navigate tricky Week 18 clash vs. Jets

Given that the Bills will be on the road in the playoffs regardless, the Week 18 clash against the New York Jets will be an interesting approach for Buffalo.

The last thing the Bills want is for a starter to go down injured and seriously hamper their playoff hopes.

So, what Sean McDermott and Co. decide to do will be a fascinating watch.

Allen clearly isn't 100 percent, so do the Bills risk him?
