There was some disappointment with how Dalton Kincaid's 2024 season went.
Now, the Buffalo Bills tight end has granted an explanation.
Kincaid told the Buffalo News that he had injuries in both of his knees throughout last season.
The left knee had a PCL problem, while the right knee had bursitis.
Kincaid ended up playing 13 games. He caught 44 passes for 448 yards, well below his rookie season marks.

The Bills often relied on veteran Dawson Knox, who is a trusty target for Josh Allen.
This year, Buffalo will also have new fifth-round rookie Jackson Hawes.
Kincaid was such an exciting talent as a rookie. He'll try to bounce back in 2025.

For the Bills to get over the hump and win a Super Bowl, they likely need a few surprise contributors.
If Kincaid is healthy and can look more like his rookie-season form after the injury-plagued year, Buffalo will have an increased chance of knocking off the Chiefs and pursuing the Lombardi Trophy.
