Bengals superstar Ja'Marr Chase predicted to make NFL history in 2025

Cincinnati Bengals superstar wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase put himself in the record books in 2024, and one analyst believes he's going to make NFL history in 2025.

Chase won the receiving triple crown in 2024, with the Bengals wideout tallying 127 receptions for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns, all of which led all pass-catchers.

Chase's historic season couldn't have come at a better time, as he was in the midst of seeking a contract extension, something he eventually got in the form of a record-breaking four-year, $161 million deal.

Looking ahead to 2025, ESPN's Mike Clay is projecting a historic season for Chase, who he has achieving yet another receiving triple crown. Clay predicts Chase will finish with league-highs in catches (109), receiving yards (1,419) and scores (10).

If he can finish tops in all three categories once again, he would become the first player in NFL history to win the triple crown twice.

There have been six triple crown winners in NFL history, with the list including Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, Steve Smith, Cooper Kupp and Chase. However, none of them ever won it twice.

Chase has already claimed the title of the best wide receiver in the NFL, but if he can make history this coming season, he's going to put himself on the path to being one of the best to ever do it.
