Bengals, Joe Burrow get encouraging news as training camp continues

The Cincinnati Bengals' training camp is happening now through Aug. 16 at Kettering Health Practice Fields in Cincinnati, and Joe Burrow is back at it, in full force.

Training camp is always an exciting time in the NFL offseason. It's when things finally start to get moving. It's that time when anything is possible and the future is at each team's footsteps.

For the Bengals, this is their chance to come back with a healthy Burrow and get back to that big game. One NFL expert thinks they can do it, too.

Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports has released a ranking of every NFL team as training camp gets going. "So how does the league landscape look now that summer vacations are over and players are hitting the practice field?" he asks in a piece out this week. That's the question he tries to answer.

Cincinnati Bengals get high ranking in tally before 2026 season

Looking at the ranking, he has the Bengals at No. 10 on the roster. That's pretty good, even if the Bengals' base would like to see them higher.

"With Joe Burrow back, the defensive front rebuilt, and a pretty easy schedule, it's hard not to be really excited about this team," he states in the piece. "Check back in Week 3, though. If the Bengals can avoid their trademark slow start, watch out."

It's a good point that if the Bengals can start strong, that will make a huge difference in getting to the postseason. For now, with Burrow healthy, things are looking good.
