Ben Shelton and girlfriend Trinity Rodman beam with pride as soccer star's brother DJ Rodman makes waves with 30-point game in NBA G League

Ben Shelton and his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, celebrated her brother DJ Rodman's latest NBA G League outing. DJ plays for the Greensboro Swarm and went up against the Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday.

Rodman showed up for the Swarm in their big 145-129 win at Chase Fieldhouse. He came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 30 points, shooting 8-11 from the field, including 7-9 from the 3-point line. He also made all three of his free throws. His +/- rating was +13.

After the big win, his sister Trinity posted about his standout outing on Instagram. She hyped up her brother, writing:

"Atttaboy!!"

Ben Shelton also reposted from the NBA G League's Greensboro official Instagram account, highlighting DJ's stat line in the game.

"30 piece??" he wrote.

DJ Rodman and Trinity Rodman are the children of NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman. He attended Corona del Mar High School in California before going to JSerra Catholic. He started his college career with Washington State (2019-2023) before playing his final years with the USC Trojans.

He went undrafted in 2024 and later joined the Los Angeles Clippers for the 2024 NBA Summer League, representing the Capital City Go-Go of the NBA G League.. In January, he signed with the Maine Celtics but was waived a few days later. He has since joined the Hornets' G-League affiliate.

Ben Shelton's girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, is a well-known soccer star while DJ Rodman is building his career in basketball. The USWNT star cited that the sibling bond is strongand they have done everything together growing up

“We’ve done everything together since we were born,” Trinity told Pac-12 in 2020 during a joint interview alongside her brother. “Even in elementary, everybody would get so surprised because we even requested to get the same teachers, same everything. So growing up, we had the same teacher for every single grade, and we just did everything together."

Meanwhile, DJ Rodman finds a best friend in her sister. He said:

“She’s obviously my sister, but she’s also like my best friend. Always someone that’s gonna stick up for me, and just always having each other’s backs and just knowing how important we are to each other,” the basketball player added. Aw!"

Trinity and DJ were mainly raised by their mother, Michelle Moyer. They have been vocal about their father, Dennis Rodman, playing an absent role when they were growing up.
