A popular WWE star recently lost his 12th title match since joining the Stamford-based promotion. He posted a social media update to break his silence on the heartbreaking losing streak.
At AAA Guerra De Titanes 2025, NXT star Je'Von Evans and Jack Cartwheel challenged Lerado Kid for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship in a three-way battle. The luchador retained the gold to hand Evans his twelfth loss in as many title matches. The 21-year-old has already competed for several championships across NXT, SmackDown, TNA, and AAA, but to no avail.
Earlier today, an X (fka Twitter) post about his dismal record caught Je'Von Evans' attention. However, instead of making any excuses or showcasing any disappointment, The Young OG pointed out that he got the best opportunities by sharing the ring with the established stars. Evans further noted that he would take all the learnings over any championship win.
"The Best And Better Opportunity Is When You’re Learning With The Legends You’ve Been In The Ring With…I’ll Take That Over Any Championship Match😘💯 #TheYoungOG #NXTYoungBlood #WWENXT," Evans wrote.Spoiler on Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes - Check Here!

Je'Von Evans receives massive praise from former WWE champion
Je'Von Evans has impressed WWE fans and many veteran wrestlers with his in-ring work within a very short span of time.
Speaking on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy spoke about Evans and even compared him to Jeff Hardy. The former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion opined that the NXT star was ready for the main roster.
"I feel like Je’Von Evans is almost an experiment, like Jeff Hardy. Jeff was super popular, you know? And like, Jeff had f*cked up a lot, and nobody knew exactly where he was, but once again they thought Jeff had done good for long enough, and they gave him that opportunity. I think he is ready to be given the opportunities to be a main roster performer in the next year or so. I mean, if he's in NXT, let him have a run there, but like, I think sooner rather than later, especially while he's young and he can do everything he can do and he's got that excitement and the buzz. I say get him on your main roster, man," Hardy said.It will be intriguing to see what plans WWE has in store for Je'Von Evans going forward.
