Beloved AEW star sends a message to Britt Baker amid her uncertain future

Britt Baker has been absent from AEW for a while. A beloved AEW star has sent her a message.

Baker received a message from Tay Melo. Baker was one of the pillars of AEW during the promotion's early days. She was one of the first women signed to the company and enjoyed success early on as the Women's World Champion. However, health issues derailed her career for a while, and when she returned to the ring, she was never pushed. Additionally, she had some backstage issues that didn't do her any good. She has not competed in Tony Khan's company since November 2024. Recently, there has been speculation about her leaving AEW when her contract expires.

Now, Baker took to Instagram to post a clip of her Christmas decorations with the following caption:

"Tis the season 🌲"

Tony Khan provided an update on Britt Baker amid her absence

Baker is one of the most popular women on the AEW roster. Since she has been with the company from the very beginning, fans have been wondering why she isn't featured regularly on TV.

During an interview with Josh Martinez of Z100 New York, Tony Khan praised Baker and said he would love to see her back soon.

“What a great star in AEW Dr. Britt Baker has been. She is still a fantastic wrestling star. She's been away from AEW for a while, but still very much with us, and at some point, hopefully soon, I'd love to see Britt Baker come back,” said Khan. [H/T: Drainmaker on X]

It will be interesting to see when Baker will return to Tony Khan's company.
