ARK Survival Ascended: All bosses on the Lost Colony map

The Lost Colony for ARK Survival Ascended isn’t just a regular map to explore and have fun. It further expands the lore and sets up a way into the next expansion. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not challenging. In fact, the Lost Colony features two boss fights that you’ll need to defeat if you’re planning to complete the map.

However, a fight with them is a lot different from your regular bosses in the game. This guide will cover all the bosses you’ll find across the ARK Survival Ascended’s Lost Colony map.

All bosses on the Lost Colony map in ARK Survival Ascended

1) Lost King

The Lost King is one of the main bosses of Arta Prime. He was initially revealed in the trailer and is someone everyone anticipated. The fight takes place in his palace, a dungeon with multiple stages. That you can enter using an altar outside.

To enter the palace, you’ll need to craft a Red-Handed relic. Like many other bosses, there are Gamma, Beta, and Alpha variants if you’re up for a challenge. Here are the crafting requirements for each:

Gamma

• Alpha Zombie Brain x1
• Minor Crimson Sigil x100
• Minor Aberrant Sigil x100
• Neophyte Horns x5

Beta

• Alpha Ossidon Skull x1
• Alpha Zombie Brain x5
• Greater Aberrant Sigil x150
• Greater Crimson Sigil x150
• Neophyte Horns x10

Alpha

• Alpha Ossidon Skull x5
• Alpha Zombie Brain x10
• Prime Aberrant Sigil x200
• Prime Crimson Sigil x200
• Neophyte Horns x15

During the fight, the Lost King will call down Gigadesmodus and will use the dino as his ride. Dealing damage to the creature will deal damage to the boss. There are multiple immunity phases each time you bring his HP down to a certain threshold.

The process for removing it remains the same, though the battle. After defeating the boss, you’ll get a cutscene, followed by another boss fight, which may surprise you.

2) Lost Queen

Following your battle with the Lost King, he’ll hand over his mantle to the Queen, whose real identity is Mei Yin Li. During her search for the Codex, she faced the Lost King and lost. However, instead of killing her, the boss turned her into the Lost Queen.

The second boss fight in ARK Survival Ascended Lost Colony takes place right after the first and is also a multi-phase battle. After dealing enough damage, she will enter an immunity phase, and a beam will start healing her. Dealing continuous damage will break off its effects, but beware of reinforcements during this phase.

After the fight, interact with the codex to lower the shield around the castle and transform Lost Colony back to its original form. There will be a cutscene showcasing the snow melting, followed by a teaser for the next expansion, ‘Bob’s True Tales’.
