Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has seen the pitchforks be sharpened with each passing week as his team is in the middle of a run of form that has seen them lose six of their last seven games.
While Todd did state he was "fine" earlier this week, there is no denying that the head coach is under serious pressure to make the postseason.
Needing to win out to make the playoffs, after the loss to the Carolina Panthers, many fans wanted Bowles removed as head coach.
So, some sections of the fan base aren't on Todd's side, but is Baker Mayfield?
"Yeah, I mean my narrative is not going to change, and our goals are still right in front of us," Mayfield said. "Would we like to be in a different position? Yeah, we would like to have closed this thing out by now, but that's not where we're at. We have to win at Miami and then come back home.
"Our focus right now is doing everything we possibly can to find a way to win in Miami and see what happens from there."

Is Bowles coaching for his job?
Possibly, and most fans would say he is.
But Bowles is contracted through to the 2028 season, per ESPN, so if they were to move on, it would be a serious financial outlay.
Plus, Bowles only signed that extension this past offseason, at the same time as general manager Jason Licht. So, I find it hard to see a world where Tampa Bay moves on after giving Bowles an extension.
But we know that teams are often quick to pull the trigger on firing people, so if the Buccaneers do miss the playoffs, there's no denying that in the 2026 season, Todd might be on the hottest of head coaching hot seats.
