Arc Raiders Hatch Keys are precious items that you can use to get back to Speranza after visiting Topside. While there are other methods to safely escape the playable maps, Hatches seem to be the quickest route to get back underground so far. These Hatches are also considerably silent and do not paint a target on your back, unlike the elevators. However, you need to be quick as the doors close rather fast.

How to get Hatch Keys in Arc Raiders

There are two ways that you can use to get your hands on the Hatch Keys in Arc Raiders:

Trader Shani

Shani is a part of the force that provides Security in Speranza. You can trade items with this NPC. When you get to the Trades tab for Shani, you will notice a Raider Hatch Key item for sale. This is the item that you are looking for and comes with a steep 9000 Coins price tag.

There are additional conditions that are associated with the purchase of this key. You can get it only after your Raider has reached Level 12. Moreover, this is a limited quantity item, so you can only purchase one key every 24 hours. Once this timer ends, Shani will be able to provide you with another key.

Crafting

You can directly craft Raider Hatch Keys by using the Utility Station. While gathering all the materials required to unlock this Workshop feature could take a while, it is easier to create your own keys. All you need are three Sensor Parts and a single Advanced Electrical Component.

This can help you save a lot of Coins and use them for other uses and purchases. Crafting keys also do not seem to have any cooldowns. All you need to do is find all the necessary materials on Topside, bring them back, dismantle items if necessary, and craft as many Hatch Keys as you need.

One of the biggest risks you face when going up to the surface is losing crucial loot. This could be at the hands of other Raiders or the machines, so you need to prioritize everything that you find during the adventure. The Arc Raiders Hatch Key is a precious commodity that almost guarantees a swift extraction and can be kept in the Safe Pocket.

How to use Hatch Keys in Arc Raiders

There are various Raider Hatches locations marked on the map. If you have a Hatch Key, you can use this to get back to Speranza. It is quite easy to spot these hatches as they simply look like small locked manholes on the ground with a console on the side.

Simply interact with the hatch on the ground and then proceed to extraction. It is important to note that the open hatch can also be used by other players, but it can be difficult as it does not remain open for a long time. However, this makes it possible for you to make friends while playing online and even use their Hatch Key to safely get back home.
