Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown stirred controversy on Monday with a graphic post on X featuring actress Sydney Sweeney.

The GIF depicted Kermit the Frog with his pants down while watching a TV screen that zoomed in on Sweeney’s chest. It referenced to her recent appearance at Variety’s Power of Women gala.

The post came six days after Sweeney caught the spotlight in a shimmering see-through silver gown at the event in Los Angeles. The Christian Cowan creation was a floor-length piece accented with crystal-like details.

Brown’s tweet wasn’t his first time reacting to the "Euphoria" star's outfit. He also shared a meme of “Homelander” from "The Boys" sniffing a carton of milk on Thursday.

Sweeney turned heads at the event not only for her fashion choice but also for her short platinum hairstyle. She debuted it alongside diamond jewelry and metallic heels.

The actress gave a message during her speech, addressing how women in Hollywood often face judgment before being understood. She spoke about perseverance and the quiet resilience required to keep pushing forward despite outside perceptions.

Antonio Brown has made a pattern of using social media to comment on female celebrities. He inserted himself into the Halloween discourse on Friday by responding to Kendall Jenner’s “Jessie the Cowgirl” costume from "Toy Story." Brown included the phrase, “I got Woody.”

The seven-time Pro Bowler retired from the NFL in March 2023 after 12 seasons. He finished his career with more than 12,000 receiving yards and 83 touchdowns.

Brown’s off-field story has also been clouded by financial trouble. Court filings in 2024 showed he entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy with millions in debt despite earning more than $80 million in the league.

A court-appointed trustee later alleged that Brown shuffled property ownership between companies to conceal assets. It led to the seizure of his Florida home valued at around $3 million.
