Jayden Daniels saw plenty of praise in 2024 in a breakout rookie season for the ages. However, 2025 has not been as kind to him. Still, at least one big fan is all-in on the Washington Commanders quarterback.

Atletico Madrid Star Antoine Griezmann spoke to sports reporter Kimmi Chex in a pre-game interview ahead of the Commanders' game against the Miami Dolphins in Madrid, Spain, on Sunday. In the interview, Griezmann revealed that he had Daniels in all six of his fantasy football leagues.

"I started with one fantasy league ... so now I'm a big fan," Griezmann said. "I'm not the best one [at the game]. I have like six leagues. Every league I have Jayden Daniels, because I'm [a] big fan."

Of course, as fantasy football managers know, managing more than one league can be a tall order. Not only does Griezmann manage multiple leagues, but he manages more than many typical NFL fans located in the United States.

Griezmann also spoke about using NFL celebrations in his sport, including one by Keenan Allen and Jaylen Waddle's famous waddle celebration after scoring a goal.

Of course, while Jayden Daniels was a league-winning quarterback in 2024, he has been mortal in 2025. Daniels missed the overseas tilt against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11 due to injury, and it wasn't his only absence.

Heading into Week 12, Daniels has only been present for six games. Daniels had a 4:1 touchdown-interception ratio in the contests, prompting plenty of reason for hope. However, from a fantasy football perspective, the best ability is availability. If Antoine Griezmann indeed drafted Daniels in all six leagues, he was left with a need to change quarterbacks multiple times this season.

Plus, most fantasy football managers in similar situations would agree that starting players in their first game after injury can be a nerve-wracking experience. If Griezmann wasn't nervous starting the quarterback after he came back from a sprained knee early in the year and the right hamstring in October, his third injury could be the final straw. It has been for plenty of managers this season.

The true test of loyalty for Griezmann could come late next summer when drafting his teams. Will Daniels make the cut in all six of his fantasy football teams for a second season in a row, or will Griezmann think twice?
