Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell were not happy as Aaron RodgersPittsburgh Steelers picked up a 35-25 loss against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Rodgers had a solid game, throwing for 219 yards on 36 attempts. He passed the ball for two touchdowns in the game.

But Green Bay’s Jordan Love outplayed the Steelers’ legendary quarterback, throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns on 37 attempts. This loss stings more than others since Rodgers and Co. held a nine-point lead ahead of the second half.

After the game, Dallas Mavericks forward Anthony Davis shared a message on his Instagram story, summing up how he feels about the Steelers’ loss on Monday.

This marked the Steelers’ second consecutive loss. Despite its struggles, the team finds itself atop the AFC North standings with a 4-3 record. Meanwhile, the Packers also elevated to the top spot in the NFC North following Sunday’s win against Pittsburgh.

The Steelers will return to action next Monday, when they face the Indianapolis Colts.


How have D'Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis fared with their new team, the Dallas Mavericks?

While Anthony Davis has already been with the Mavericks for a few months, the 2025-26 season marks the first time he has started an NBA season with the team.

He has looked solid through his first three games, averaging 24.7 points and 12.0 rebounds. While it is still early in the campaign, he has looked sharp on defense but has struggled to find his shot, shooting 39%.

Meanwhile, D'Angelo Russell's time with the Mavericks is off to a difficult start. He has struggled to get playing time, averaging 12 minutes through his first two games. He is averaging 10.3 points and 4.0 assists.

The former Lakers guard played a strong game against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, finishing with 24 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Despite his early struggles, Russell has shown signs of life and could turn things around. The Mavericks are 1-2 to start the season and will face the OKC Thunder in their fourth game of the season on Monday.
