AEW's current roster is immensely talented. Tony Khan and a few wrestlers founded the company in 2019. Over the years, they have signed many massive names from other wrestling promotions like WWE and NJPW.

All Elite Wrestling has a working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Prominent names such as Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, Jay White, Kenny Omega, Katsuyori Shibata, and more were once under the Japanese company's banner. Interestingly, Tony Khan might sign another talented NJPW name soon.

According to a recent Fightful report, NJPW star Clark Connors' contract is expiring, and he is evaluating his options. The 32-year-old is a brilliant in-ring competitor and has held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship twice. He is a member of War Dogs, a subgroup of Bullet Club. Apart from him, this faction consists of Taiji Ishimori, Robbie X, Oskar, Jake Lee, Gedo, Gabe Kidd, Drilla Moloney, and David Finlay.

Fans on Twitter are anticipating Clark Connors' next destination. One user said that the 32-year-old looks like WWE star Drew McIntyre, while another said that he will be a great addition to the Don Callis Family. Many want to see him in All Elite Wrestling.

Clark Connors took shots at AEW star Katsuyori Shibata a few years back

Clark Connors was interviewed by Wrasslerap in 2023. In this conversation, he took a massive shot at his former trainer, Katsuyori Shibata. He said that he could have become a superstar if he hadn't listened to the reigning AEW World Trios Champion.

It will be interesting to see Shibata and Connors lock horns in AEW. Only time will tell what the future holds for them.
