Former NFL quarterback turned analyst Tony Romo made a bizarre comment during the Week 10 showdown between the New England Patriots and the Washington Commanders. After retiring, he joined CBS Sports as an analyst, calling games alongside Jim Nantz after replacing Phil Simms as his partner in 2017.
While talking about Mike Vrabel and his team's game plan foundation on the field, the ex-Cowboys star created an awkward moment when he used the acronym "DTF" to describe them. He then quickly clarified himself by explaining what he was actually trying to convey during the broadcast.
"Fundamentally sound. This team is DTF, Jeff. Patriots details, toughness and they finish," Romo said.•

The game ended with the Patriots securing a 28-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. This helped them extend their winning streak to seven games with an 8-2 record. On the other hand, the Buccaneers are 6-3 after Sunday's loss to Mike Vrabel's team.
Both quarterbacks gave their best effort in this Week 10 showdown. Baker Mayfield completed 28 of 43 passes for 273 yards and three passing touchdowns.. On the other hand, Drake Maye completed 16 of 31 passes for 270 yards and two passing touchdowns.
Tony Romo predicts the Patriots' scoring a touchdown during the end of the first quarter
The Bucs were leading the Patriots 7-0 in the first quarter, thanks to Baker Mayfield's 21-yard touchdown pass to Emeka Egbuka, followed by McLaughlin's extra point conversion.
During the Patriots' first-and-ten play in the final seconds of the first quarter, Tony Romo highlighted how OC Josh McDaniels usually comes up with "big plays" at this point of the game.
His prediction came true as Drake Maye found rookie WR Kyle Williams with a touchdown pass. Andres Borregales scored the extra point to level the playing field for both teams.
The Patriots are next scheduled to face the New York Jets on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET. Can Mike Vrabel and his team continue this momentum and extend their winning streak?
