All Folktale locations in Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory

Folktale locations are special areas in Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory, where Basim can listen to stories and unlock tales and Codex entries. Players who are looking forward to a completionist run will need to access all Folktales to acquire the Once Upon A Time achievement. Although there is a lot of ground to cover in the new map, you only need to unlock five Folktales to acquire the achievement.

This article walks you through all the Folktale locations available in Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory.


Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory: All Folktale locations

1) Folktale location in AlUla

After completing The Ones Who Remain quest, you will escort Hind all the way to Nimlot's house. This is where the mission ends. From this point, head west towards the location marked below in AlUla city.

You will find a woman sitting with two kids and telling them a story about a blue-eyed seer. There is a bench across from the woman where Basim can sit down. Listening to the story unlocks the first Folktale in Assassin's Creed Mirage DLC.


2) Folktale location in AlUla Oasis

The next Folktale in Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory can be found north of the Farmer's Quarters in the AlUla Oasis region. Head to the area marked below, and you will find two women sitting under a shed right beside the street.

There is a bench on the opposite side of these NPCs where Basim can sit down. This is marked by a blue cloth covering the wooden structure. Listen to their conversation as they talk about a creature called Nasnas. This unlocks the second Folktale in the Valley of Memory DLC.

3) Folktale location in Northern Wilds

The third Folktale in Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory, is located far north in an area marked as the Northern Wilds. You must reach the western edge of the map as marked below. You will soon find a small gathering of people.

Get close to the men talking by the campfire. There will be another bench covered with a blue cloth nearby. Sit down and listen to their conversation about a creature called Dandan. After the story ends, you will unlock another Folktale entry for your Codex.


4) Folktale location on the border of Northern Wilds and Ramm Valley

The next location is right on the eastern border of the two areas, Northern Wilds and Ramm Valley. From the previous Folktale spot, you can simply head east, and you will come across another small settlement, with a few people resting by the fireside.

There is a bench marked with a blue cloth nearby. Sit down and listen to the story of a city called Ubar and how it vanished from the face of the earth. This unlocks the fourth Folktale in Assassin's Creed Mirage DLC.

5) Folktale location in Hegra

The last Folktale in Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory is situated at the eastern edge of the region Hegra. As you head close to the point marked below, you will come across Ithlib Mountains point of interest.

Head to the opening between two large structures to find a cave and a sole storyteller sitting in the middle. Sit beside him and listen to the story of the Ifrit. This will unlock the fifth and final folktale and award you with the Once Upon A Time achievement in the Valley of Memory DLC.
