Alica Schmidt shared a sneak peek of her trying the ice bath challenge during her family Christmas vacation in Bressanone, South Tyrol, Italy. The German athlete is currently preparing herself for the upcoming track season.

Most recently, she shared snaps of her Christmas celebration on her Instagram story. She posted a video of her doing the ice bath challenge in her hotel's freezing pool with her family. The story's caption read:

Further, she uploaded a snap of her Christmas outfit on her story. She shared a mirror selfie, where she flaunted a white cropped shirt paired with a black blazer. Here is the snapshot:

In addition to this, she also went on to share clips of the scrumptious food she had and wrote:

"The food the last days were 10/10. I don't know what that was but it was sooo good!"

Previously, Schmidt uploaded photos from the same trip. The pictures included views from the hotel, Santre Dolomythic Home, its pool, and the amenities.

Schmidt wrapped up her 2025 season after competing at the German Championships. After making it to the top three of the 800m heats of the championships, she still fell short of securing a spot in the World Athletics Championships, marking an end to her season.

When Alica Schmidt made her feelings known about being recognized in the public

Alica Schmidt sat for a conversation with the OMR Podcast in February 2024, where she opened up about being recognized by the public. She revealed that she recognized she had become famous after fans started approaching her.

Expressing elation at meeting someone from the community in real life, she said: (46:36 onwards)

"I definitely get recognized, and you notice it when you're secretly whispered about or, as I said, someone comes up to me. I always find it nicer when people approach me. I'm really happy when you meet someone from the community and you see who's actually behind it. For example, at the World Championships, who I have been in contact with for many years. She writes to me regularly, so it was just really cool to see the person behind it," said Alica Schmidt.

After concluding the 2025 season, Alica Schmidt shared a major life update on social media. She revealed that she bought a new house and also shared a few pictures, showcasing the start of her new chapter.
