Richard Bengston, also known as "Banks," has addressed the online community after former FaZe Clan members Jason "Jasontheween," Rani "Stable Ronaldo," Nick "Lacy," Alexander "Adapt," and Jerry "Silky" announced their departure from the organization, calling them out for being "incredibly ungrateful," adding that signing them was the "worst decision" of his life.

On December 25, 2025, Banks took to X to share a 12-minute-23-second video to comment on the five Twitch streamers' decision to leave FaZe Clan.

At the five-minute mark of his video, the former CEO of the organization commented on Maxwell "Plaqueboymax's" actions during the livestream, while the Best Music Streamer award winner reacted to Jasontheween, Stable Ronaldo, Lacy, Adapt, and Silky's exit from FaZe Clan.

Banks said:

"I just watched some clips from this Plaqueboymax stream, where he's playing a laugh track over my tweet, and it's like, Max, I know we've had, like, our individual differences, and I know I haven't really seen eye-to-eye with a lot of the talent, because truthfully and honestly, I find you guys all to be incredibly ungrateful. I find you guys to have insane egos. And I think it's disgusting. It makes me sick to my stomach that you guys' relationship with each other, with every other streamer, and you community included, is so incredibly fake. You guys are the best actors on planet Earth, and you've made a complete career out of all of it."

The 34-year-old went on to call out Plaqueboymax for being egotistical, adding that former FaZe Clan members did not appreciate Lacy or Jasontheween "in the beginning":

"Max, these are your boys, but these are the same guys that hated your guts after you left. And, you know, you're the program. You have an ego the size... you think you're Travis Scott, and this and that. Also, like, Max, multiple conversations about how Ron's content is cringe. You guys didn't f**k with Adapt. None of you guys f**ked with Lacy or Jason in the beginning. You guys didn't want these guys to live anywhere near you, and you rarely wanted to share the brand with them."

Banks says signing former FaZe Clan members into the organization was the "worst decision" of his life

At the two-minute mark of the video, Banks described signing former FaZe Clan members, such as Plaqueboymax, Lacy, Silky, Stable Ronaldo, and Adapt, as "one of the worst decisions he'd ever made in his entire life."

While claiming that the situation had resulted in him incurring millions of dollars in debt, Richard stated:

"Max just said it himself on stream, 'Joining FaZe was the best decision I've ever made in my life.' I've heard that from Lacy. I've heard it from Silky. I've heard it from Jason. I've heard it from Ron. I've heard it from Adapt. I've heard it from every single person that's ever joined FaZe. Specifically, these guys. And I'm here to tell you, as former FaZe Banks, this was one of the worst decisions I've ever made in my entire life."

Banks continued:

"I gave up my entire adult life to this. I have put myself in millions and millions and millions of dollars in debt. I have never made not one singular dollar outside of my salary. Not selling it. Not buying it. Raising money. I've just put myself through further and further in debt."

As of this writing, neither Jasontheween, Stable Ronaldo, Lacy, Plaqueboymax, Adapt, nor Silky have responded to Banks' statements.
