AEW star Ricochet responds after a fan takes a huge shot at him for leaving WWE 

Ricochet has been writing a new chapter of his wrestling career since jumping ship from WWE to AEW. However, a fan recently took a shot regarding the same and instead drew the ire of The One and Only.

The former WWE United States Champion was one of the most talented yet underutilised wrestlers on their roster. Following the end of his contract, he left the promotion and made his debut at the 2024 AEW All In pay-per-view. A few months into his new company, Samantha Irvin's better half turned heel and became one of the top fixtures for their television programming.

His portrayal as the narcissistic villain and leader of The Demand has garnered significant attention from fans. Furthermore, Ricochet recently appeared in a video for All Elite Wrestling, where he is seemingly bullying another person who was trying to drink water. This led a fan to take a shot, saying that he left WWE to engage in such antics.

"This is what he left WWE for?😂😂😂".

The Future of Flight took notice and took to his X to immediately shut him down with a fiery response of its own.

"You're an Xbox person. Your opinion is obviously garbage."

Former WWE Champion is a big fan of Ricochet

The One and Only has been turning heads with his tenure in AEW so far. In doing so, he has made a fan in former WWE champion JBL, who stated that he really likes Ricochet's work in Tony Khan's promotion.

"I love what Ricochet's doing. He seems like a great guy, and every time I talk to him, I really like him, personally. What he's done with social media, I think, he's been fantastic. He's always creating something controversial. He always sticks up for his product. But he always finds a way to put himself over, and he does a great job of doing that. I love what he's doing. I think it's perfect for both AEW and for himself."

With the former WWE superstar climbing the ladder in All Elite Wrestling, it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
